Saturday 19th October saw Metropolis opens its doors to the ‘Up and Coming Youth Stage’ of Oxjam Chiswick Festival 2013!
Running from 1-7pm, the world-famous studios gave 12 young people the opportunity to play in spaces used by some of music’s biggest legends. The line up was filled by local talent from a number of different schools and youth groups as well as Metropolis Artist Management singer, ASHA. The stage was sponsored by W4 Youth, a Chiswick-based group aiming to provide a safe and interesting place for young people to go, and equipment was generously provided by Roland. The day was a huge success, helping Oxjam Chiswick Festival raise over £18,000 and some of the performers even making it into the local news!
