The latest project from Metropolis Creative saw the team working with our friends at Ted Baker.
Liverpool, birthplace to iconic groups like The Beatles and Frankie Goes To Hollywood, has always been synonymous with music. So, when a new Ted Baker Liverpool store was planned, music was the obvious choice theme. With each store Ted builds (nearing 100 across 5 continents) he creates something special to reward the first customers through the door. For the launch of the new shop at Liverpool One, Metropolis Creative were selected to create an interactive, in-store music experience.
The final idea, developed to build on Ted Baker’s love of combining old and new, was a gramophone that can be operated using a smart phones. As well as being able to play records, customers can enter their details for the chance to win a shopping spree.
Developed over a period of 6 weeks, the project pulled in Metropolis’ expertise in digital development and artist management. Two Metropolis acts (Sailor and I and Pablo Nouvelle) were featured in the final selection of artists.
If you’re in Liverpool this month head along a Ted Baker branch and have a play.
