London’s leading recording and entertainment complex welcome the return of Ramy Dance to drive new business for the newly formed Metropolis Productions Ltd.
Ramy began his career on music video production before moving into roles, which taught him the craft of Post Production. He joined Metropolis as a Junior Designer before rising to be Creative Director in just 5 years. He left Metropolis in 2011 to work in a freelance capacity in order to deepen his production skills and to gain exposure and relationships in other markets. He returns to Metropolis having completed campaigns and productions for Channel 4, Warner Music, Flava TV, Island and SONY Entertainment. ‘I’m thrilled to return to Metropolis, this feels like a natural next stage for me. The opportunities for growth are vast and I am looking forward to bringing the expertise and contacts I gained over the past 2 years into Metropolis, whilst at the same time taking the opportunity to create a dynamic creative production team that can introduce innovation and quality to Metropolis’s client base’ says Ramy. ‘I enjoy working as part of a creative team across a range of projects and the new management at Metropolis are an inspiring team to be part of”
Ian Brenchley, CEO of Metropolis, also commented ‘ We are committed to growing the portfolio of services we offer to the Music and Entertainment industries and a Production group is a vital part of that vision. With Ramy’s leadership and creative energy, we can continue to enhance our reputation with artists, record labels and agencies whilst at the same time introducing a fresh approach to viral campaigns and other routes to market for big brands who are looking for a fresh and innovative way to communicate to their customers and contacts.
