Preparing your iMix: When you send your files, please provide us with as many mix notes as possible regarding production, mixing effects and reference links to songs you’d like the mix to emulate. We take files via WeTransfer and require WAV or AIFF files (44.1, 48, 88.2 or 96KHz). These should be bounced from bar 1, beat 1 and all be the same length and the same sample rate.
Pro Tools HD: our Engineers work in Pro Tools HD so please ensure you bounce the multi-track to audio with all the audio files starting in the same place for synchronisation. If your DAW has a normalize option when bouncing, please make sure it is turned off.
Production FX: if you have any FX that are integral to the track or specific to an instrument’s overall sound (eg. filter sweeps or time-based panning etc.) these should be bounced as part of the track ready for mixing.
Mixing FX: for FX that are easily emulated we ask that you can provide a dry bounce, along with an FX stem to reference. For example a dry vocal along with an FX stem.
Revisions: our iMixing packages include 1 revision i.e a small number of minor tweaks to levels and elements within the mix.
Studios: all iMixing is carried out on our iconic analogue Consoles in any one of our four studios – Studio A, B, C or E.
Engineers: for the quickest turn-around, we assign iMixes to engineers on a first available basis. If want a mix completed by a specific engineer, just let us know -but please be aware it may take a little longer.
