Sam Dowden
Sam Dowden has been playing professionally for 4 years and released his debut album in 2013. The album, Out of The Blue, was released via the independent label Rooster Records and is available on iTunes and Amazon. A sound described by Radio Devon’s Kev Hutchings as “Guitar led, feel good pop songs, which wouldn’t have sounded out of place next to Newton Faulkner or James Morrison”. James Santer, BBC Introducing, described this talented young man as “One of the best singer-songwriters in Devon”. Sam writes acoustic melodic pop songs with a rhythmic style that is quite unique and is known for his gentle yet powerful voice and percussive acoustic guitar playing.

Emma Lauran
Inspired by the likes of Jessie Ware, Ellie Goulding and Skylar Grey, Emma has a spirit about her that is infectious and a bravery in her voice that can hush a crowd. Emerging from Exeter’s vibrant music scene in the South West, she immersed herself in performing, writing and fashioning her own brand of heartfelt, determined pop that sounds as fragile as it does emphatic. Emma continues to build momentum in London where she is currently collaborating with writers and producers.

Bronwen Lewis
Bronwen Lewis is a 22 year old singer songwriter from Seven Sisters, South Wales who first appeared on BBC’s The Voice. She went on to star in the 2014 BAFTA award winning and Golden Globe nominated film Pride, and sang the soundtrack protest song Bread and Roses. Her first independently released EP, Pureheart, was released in March 2015, and was produced by Hugh Padgham at Sofa Sound Studios in Chiswick. Bronwen was recently Artist of the Week at BBC Radio Wales, and has had her Welsh and English music championed by the BBC. She is in the process of writing and recording her first album, and will be releasing the final product in May with Sain Records.

Ray Wills
A recent graduate of the Songwriting and Artist Development Course at ACM@Metropolis, Ray Wills gives a truly haunting performance. Following in the musical footsteps of his mother who was a Jazz singer and bassist, Wills has incorporated a number of different styles into his own writing, such as Alternative Folk and Indie. Inspired by the likes of Matt Corby and Ben Howard, he continues to work tirelessly and strives to one day impact the music industry on a global scale. Ray Wills is an emerging artist who will knock his audience off their feet with the combination of his intricate guitar playing and delicate yet powerful vocals.
