24-year-old Nathan Ball has been writing for the best part of ten years, drawing inspiration from his beloved Cornish coastline as well as the vast landscapes of Foals, Bon Iver and Daughter. Finding his feet in the depths of the sea, cold-water soul Nathan weaves dark acoustica with electrifying instrumental scores.
Nathan’s career began with just him, a guitar and a unique, stirring voice that landed him support slots with Mercury Prize winners alt-J∆, Gabrielle Aplin and Sony RCA’s recent signing Amber Run. After spending much of this year refining the darker and more atmospheric elements with his four-piece band Nathan unveils his debut EP, Echo.
Find Nathan on Spinnup.
Two-piece blues / rock duo originating from Cornwall who have appeared in Classic Rock Magazine’s “16 Hottest New Bands in the World”, after Ash and Max met, and study at Falmouth University.
The blues-inspired duo offer us their own brand of unsanitary rock throughout, from the snarling and ferocious drumming to a spaghetti-western aura of guitar, this makes them a shoe-in to be found in some backwater Texan town in the next decade screaming their heads off and pouring JD down their throats. Smokin’ Durrys fail to let up and let you breathe, instead they ram their hard hitting duo sound down your throat.
Indigo Face are Italian singer/songwriter Mariachiara Terragin and French producer and multi-instrumentalist Maxime Obadia.
Single Fearless has been played on BBC Introducing and the band recently opened Sound for Sight fundraiser concert at The Tabernacle alongside Nate James and Byrn Terfel.
Indigo Face released their first EP, State Of Alert, on March 6th 2015.
Bella Figura, which translates as “beautiful way of living” in Italian, are a 3-piece band formed in London. The powerful three-piece specialise in producing excellent classic-style rock with heavy guitar grooves. At just over a year old and after a brief tour in September 2014 in support of their debut EP released 6th October, Bella Figura have gained a mass of commendations from across the city and internet.
