Metropolis Studios works closely with brands to deliver all different types of music experience and studio content series. We specialise in curating the best in next-generation artists for brands.
Metropolis Sessions is a video content series in which acts are given the opportunity to record one track for a highly stylised video release, shot by and in partnership with Crack Magazine. This is an unprecedented opportunity for bands to work with our award winning engineers. The value of content, studio time, and media distribution is in excess of £20,000. The series is supported by tech-partner Sennheiser with content released across Crack Magazine’s print and online network. The series launched in July 2018 with an incredible session by Tirzah on Domino Records performing ‘Gladly’: Metropolis Sessions #001
My Style My Sound was devised by Metropolis in 2017 for fashion/sports brand ellesse. This original content series features the best breaking bands on the circuit from a diverse range of genres reflecting the brand’s own demographic. We have filmed and recorded over 40 bands in session for release across Ellesse’s official network of channels. Bands include Blackwaters, Laurel, Belly Squad, Kevin Garrett, Fyfe, Nina Nesbitt, Not3s, Easy Life, Hollie Cook, Chloe Howl, The Orielles, Bloxx, Rukhsana Merrise, L.A Salami, MK_ULTRA, Skinny Pelembe, Aine Cahill, Billy Lockett, Gengahr…
We have also partnered up with Mastercard Priceless Cities to deliver a once in a lifetime Live-to-Vinyl experience, the closest music fans will ever get to seeing a band record in their natural environment and the first time a studio has ever opened its doors to the general public in this way. After a champagne reception, guests are invited to Studio-A for a run down on the proceedings before watching artists record two tracks direct to our rare cutting lathes. The record is in turn pressed to limited edition coloured vinyl and sent to the guest’s front door. For more information, follow us on Dice.
