Dan started his mastering career at Metropolis in 2022, assisting Grammy Award-winning engineer Matt Colton. Since then, he has been learning the art of mastering, vinyl cutting and Atmos mixing by assisting on projects by artists such as The Rolling Stones, The Cure, Fontaines DC, Blur, Michael Kiwanuka, Oasis and many more…
Since taking on his own clients, Dan has worked on a wide range of genres, from indie rock to pop, R&B, and folk, being guided by the needs of each genre to serve the song creatively. Drawing on his background studying music recording and production, he gets the song where it needs to be technically while also matching the energy and personality of the song. Dan loves to meet his clients in person, so attended sessions are always welcome!
